Rains! My favorite season since childhood. Though it is true that monsoon is the season which gives people toughest time,especially with local trains and traffic. But rains are beautiful & to realize that you just have one place on earth & that is MARINE DRIVE.4.3 km long C-shaped long road along the coast with long foot path also know as Queen's necklace it is the perfect place to enjoy the rains.
Normally, on a rainy day the Marine drive looks somewhat in these way, the huge waves hitting the rocks,and all the seawater coming on footpaths and then on roads.
The smell of the buta( roasted corn) and the peanuts spread everywhere because of stormy winds. The thundering clouds and lightening just make the scene perfect. Though holding an umbrella in hands is all most impossible.. and even if you hold one you are still going to get wet in the long waves. While some waiting at a single place while some taking a walk!
Going to Marine Drive on a rainy day will make you me fell in love with it and Mumbai all over again. Doesn't matter how many tensions, worries You have, You will just forget each everything makes me feel so light and forget everything. It will just improves your mood each time.
As the monsoon season arrives going to marines is a must no matter how much you are busy with assignments, studies, presentation, projects, clients, work you should go to marines at least once! And you will even enjoy more when you have your friends with you.
